Traditional and Contemporary Indian Weddings

Indian weddings are usually very traditional because they have loads of rituals and ceremonies that have been affiliated with a wedding celebration for a long time. Their wedding festivities go on for many days prior to the wedding and continue for some days after as well. Some of the celebrations that take place are the exchanging of gifts between the two families of bride and the groom; however the other more colorful celebrations includefamilies getting together for some song and dance rituals and to adorn the bride with beautifying cosmetics and jewelry.
